Production for the film has been hanging in limbo for a few years now, but it seems that the merc with the mouth will make his way to the big screen (no, X-Men Origins: Wolverine doesn't count) in the upcoming film Deadpool, which will hit theaters on February 12, 2016. So we've got a bit of a wait, but it seems he's on the way. Tim Miller is so far on board to direct the film, and Ryan Reynolds still has a possibility of playing the character.
